Treetop Lodge is part of a 72-acre farm that includes houses, barns, rolling pastures, ponds and woods. Located in a rural setting, but close to cities, shopping, and restaurants (in the unlikely chance you might want to leave for any reason), our beautiful woodland home can accommodate up to 18 overnight guests comfortably - 20-22 in a pinch.
Whatever your retreat passion, we’ve got the place, the plan, and our promise to give you unparalleled hospitality.
THE GREAT ROOM
A welcoming and spacious Great Room with an exposed beam cathedral ceiling has lots of natural light. Your comfort is assured by an overstuffed sofa and chair-and-a-half recliners surrounding the massive, two-story brick chimney and gas-burning hearth.
Adjacent to the living area are two large dining tables that can seat twenty in comfort for memorable meals. Extra tables and chairs can be set up for larger parties.
A deck spans the length of the Great Room and a covered porch is on the opposite side. Picnic tables as well as cushy chairs are available for both so you can enjoy nature outside as the season and weather allow.
THE GATHERING ROOM
At the other end of the home the Gathering Room has views of both the central garden and the woods.
More overstuffed furniture makes this restful room a favorite for friendly conversation or quiet reflection.
Kick back with a book. Relax with your portable handicrafts. A game table is the perfect spot for a Scrabble challenge, or you can choose a movie from our collection. We have a pretty broad selection, but you're welcome to bring along your favorites to share.
THE LIBRARY
Between the two rooms is The Library.
Along with a small seating area, game table, daybed, and adjacent closet full of games, it has shelves of books.
They are from our own personal collections, and while guests are more than welcome to use them while they are here, it is not a "take a book - leave a book" library.
Borrowing can be arranged, but please be sure to return them when you are done reading.
THE BEDROOMS
There are nine guest accommodations at Treetop. All are supplied with linens, blankets and pillows. There is plenty of storage for your own personal possessions. All bathrooms are stocked with towels, washcloths, hair dryers, and basic toiletries. If you forget something essential, just ask. We probably have it.
On the main level you will find The Aviary, decorated with our birds in mind. It has a queen-sized bed and a single bed. A round area rug is made with alpaca fiber. The three-room bathroom includes a tub with a shower.
Peace, Love, and Butterflies, with three twin beds, is also on the main level. Its design reflects the name on the door. The bath serving PL&B is just outside the room and has a large walk-in shower.
Two areas that can be used if necessary are on the main level as well, though neither is as comfortable nor as private as the bedrooms.
There is a daybed in The Library. You are welcome to challenge manager/hostess/caterer/chef Connie for possession, if you dare.
The Nook in the tower has a single pull-out couch. The alpaca rug on the floor is a heavenly experience for bare toes.
Upstairs behind the Great Room's huge brick chimney is The Bunny Loft with a double bed. Peter Rabbit is the dominant theme here.
Also on this level is Unicorn's Dream. It has a queen-sized bed. The room is filled with our favorite mythical animal and another soft alpaca rug is on the floor.
Serving both is a bath with tub and shower.
The stairs in the tower lead up to a suite of rooms.
The largest, Milady’s Chamber, has two queen beds.
Another queen-sized bed can be found in the adjoining Rose Alcove.
The Tower Room, in a more open area near the stairs, holds a double bed.
A big bath with a large walk-in shower is shared by the rooms on this level.
CREATIVE STUDIO
This spacious room on our lower level can meet a variety of needs. It can hold at least sixteen five-foot individual tables. Reconfigure the tables for seminars, meetings, classes and banquets. Remove them entirely to accommodate activities like yoga or tai chi.
Our studio area is designed to be the perfect workshop for you to spread out your favorite crafts. With all your supplies close at hand, plenty of space, and no need to pack everything up at the end of the day, you will be in crafter's heaven.

THE NO-NOs
Obviously, we love animals, but for everyone's safety and comfort, please leave your pets at home.
We've provided many things for your free use while at Treetop Lodge. We operate on the honor system, so please respect our property, home and its contents. You will trust us to give you an entertaining and relaxing visit, and we trust you to be honest and respectful. We know accidents happen. If something does break or stop working, let Connie know right away so it can be repaired or replaced. We have never yet met a guest who did any irresponsible damage or theft while at Treetop Lodge. Please don't be our first.
If you are smoking inside the house, you'd better be on fire.
